Default A great Weekend with Daughter.

Hello All,

THis is off subject some but I with help from Torpedochief built a KV-1 complete with Elmod for my daughter. She is a cancer survivor and her name in Russian is on the turret as well as her nickname. I dedicated this tank to her as a battle tank to fight the cancer portayed by a robot dinasaur called Cancersaurus. Well she visited me last weekend and got a chance to run it herself. She and I laughed and enjoyed this tank as well as a Pz-3 from Phil for hours. It was good to see her smile and enjoy herself with me and my hobby.

She asked me to just tell everyone thanks for all the help I received from many of you guys for making this happen. Oh and also she enjoyed her 60 year old dad enjoying something too.

God bless all of you and Merry Christmas from my Daughter Summer and I.

David

It's not off topic at all! There ARE tanks involved!

Merry Christmas and God Bless you both David.

It's important to share this hobby with children. Spending time together and history lessons they'll never get in school.

That was a very fun build David. I am so glad she liked it!

Now we have the chance for her to show off at THUNDER RUN II. We just have to set a date.

Try to make it sometime in the summer Don, if you can. I would love to come down for it.
And you really need to try and make one of the Danville events in the new year.

May everyone find a tank guarding the Christmans tree on the 25th.

Merry Christmas
