Tiger Tank terrible Crash!
For Savety and Security!
Passive security enjoys highest priority with Delas general tank club (DAPC). Crashtests demonstrate therefore also, which manufacturers made their homework. In addition, they show, what wrong one can make. Open hatches, radio operator seatleft, wrongly adjusted Winkelspiegel, badly or not at all buckled, inserted - the possibilities are numerous.
What happens, if a rear end collision stops the trip abruptly?
The quite spread original Heng Long tiger 1:16, is tested current version, quasi freshly ex factory from the Hong Kong box. A transferred head-on collision with a brick wall is represented - an accident frequently occurring in the reality. The Geschindigkeit amounts to 30 km/h. The test takes place with propulsion, thus with full power running engines.

Result: the ratings lay throughout in the upper third. Particularly within the range of the tub striking weaknesses showed up. Here the manufacturer should become urgently active. Apart from the missing rigidity of the tub sides it gives to report in addition, positive: the tower exceeded all expectations regarding security.
Tested in the secret laboratories of the Delavision 2010/the southern Urals.

RE: Tiger Tank terrible Crash!
I personally think this is offensive and moronic. It is obvious that the tank is rammed into the wall with a piston device, so any "scientific research" is hogwash even if there was a reason for such data. And the purpose of this forum is to improve our tanks, not to make idiotic YouTube videos and go "look at what I can smash". What's next - stuffing firecrackers in the turret and see if it comes off the hull? Or how about putting a tank under the wheel of a transit bus and see if it flattens the tank?
Seriously, prallplatte is pathetic! Try and create a tank worthy of showing us instead of showing us that you can break things....

It's fun with tanks. That's as worthy as anything else I've seen in this fourm.
It's nice to see someone think outside the box.
Firecrackers.... hmmm...

But nevertheless, the Tests must go on. My next volunteers had to subscribe, that they dont want to be modified by casual narrowhands. They want to die in beauty, or that, whatthey think beauty is, ugly thermoplast creatures.
All subscribed. What shall i do?
They will be tested. Problem: the test-area is outbooked:

Your next "crash test movie" should include crash test dummys.

RE: Tiger Tank terrible Crash!
Can you recommend a very small, lightcolor camera to mount on a tank? Would like it to get the "commanders view" with good DOF, link wireless to a laptop screen. Sound not important.
Great studio work!!!! Funny project....better than the garbage on TV.

RE: Tiger Tank terrible Crash!
Thank you. I´ll do my very best!
A lot of questions:
- i just phoned with Red Thatcherina: Specklespatz Langeschwanze is still lost in the desert b: www.youtube.com/watch
- small light wireless camera with good dof: i dont know.
i use:
a) normal wireless microcams from ebay for 25 $ p.p. with poor quality,
b)MINI DV ACTION CAMCORDER from muvi / veho for 80$which have a micro sd card andgood quality 640 x 480
- damage with a legitamly hit onthe wall at full speed by its own power: depends on, what part of the tank kontakts first. my crashtest with real speed would only damage the barrel. the tanks are physically very tough - the gears, elektric and chains differ from this solidity.
how goes it on? well, we had doubts about our security, therefore the salvage of the - as we accepted - only two mini tigers was made by blowing up robots. Well, charge carrier would be probably more correct. A Goliath derivative, developed in my former Eastern Bloc laboratories.
And- naturally that was filmed. The camerasremain with melted SD-cards still in the laboratories, evaluation so far not possible. The fire would have become probably not so large, if not shortly after the salvage the complete electrical system had failed. The latter by the way obstructed the hermetic bulkheading of the laboratory very much. The evacuation of the population within the new 200 km prohibited area youknown from the press....

RE: Tiger Tank terrible Crash!
YOU MEAN 'PLOW MY' THATCHERINA IS STILL ALIVE???????????? As for young Specklespatz, methinks a rescue op is in order. Been a while since I was in the desert, but even thought I'm getting a little long in the tooth, once more will not hurt.
And thanks for the 200 km exclusion zone...it just happens to encompass one of the finest 'neked' beaches in North Krim up Yevpatoria way. Sigh. At least I won't need so many heart meds this summer. Ummm.....did they ever get the fire put out?

Well, sevoblast, what a tragedy...
BTW: this is one of the burnt8 GB SD cards from the cameras:

But now to positives: the first data could be saved by the burnt SD-cards. To see a carcass of the blowing up robot " Bomb #20" , belonging to the charge carrier Dark star, which contributed considerably to the disaster. Further data records are published without being asked after re-establishment.
