RE: Which Heng Long 1:16 models are available with infrared battle system?
Hey,
From the top of my head:
Jagdpanther
StuG
Panzer IVF2
All come with IR and recoil. Not 100% sure on the F2, but I do remember seeing the recoil mechanism listed for it somewhere.

The Stugg III was the first IR tank from Heng Long and is is not Tamiya compatable. Then the KV-1 and the Jagdpanther. I have owed all of 3 them but nat all were IR. I think each had a recoil units as well. They are better looking and more realistic than the WSN IR battletanks but no where near as good as the Tamiya. They are ideal for H L to Tamiya conversion and I have several that I battle with.

For certain: Stug III - this is the only model that has only the HL IR system and recoil. The KV-1, Panther and JagdPanther have both IR (with recoil) and airsoft ('Smoke and sound' and 'Non Smoke and Sound') options.
I haven't seen a Pz IV F2 advertised with IR out of the box, but Matomart sell the mechanism that replaces the airsoft mechanism with a 'recoil' (altho they don't sell the mechanism with the micro switches required to control it [:@])
You will still need a new barrel however, as the 'recoil' gun barrels have a screw thread at the end to attach to the 'recoil' mechanism - you can't just drop in the 'recoil' unit and connect it to the original airsoft barrel....
Be warned that their 'recoil' is somewhat underwhelming, the barrel snaps forward and then draws back slowly...! YHR, 971Wright, and others have detailed mods here to correct that little faux pas...

As I could understand - any tank with a control board 18 - can be made by the IR battle. There will need to have the IR receiver and IR LED.
The link - the possibility of modifying the connection management board 18 -
http://www.rccommand.com/guides/RX18FireMod.php
http://www.rccommand.com/guides/upgrade.php
http://www.rccommand.com/guides/RCC_...stallation.php
That is to roll back the trunk with airsoft gun - much harder. You can just buy the mechanism of IR Gun

RE: Which Heng Long 1:16 models are available with infrared battle system?
Thanks for the input guys. So there is no Tiger with stock IR +recoil system?
Thanks for the links .
I have two questions:
1. What diode should be used for the mod in the first link?
2. Is there any vendor that sells the IR receivers and emitters with all the wiring? Or, alternativelly, what receiver and emitter should be used?

Look at this link - http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_10073080/tm.htm
There's this diode is outside the control board 18.
Also there is clear where and how to connect the IR sensor and IR LED defeat shot.
IR battle system will operate at HL tanks with control board 18 and in the case without a mechanism for rolling back the IR gun.
Diode can be any silicon with a reverse voltage of more than 10 - 15 volts
IR receivers and emitters with all the wiring You can buy on Ebay, for example.
Or do it yourself

At one of the tanks forums was the theme - http://dettankcom.org/forum/index.php?PHPSESSID=176223a6ca7405dfd47cfa57689c0a b8&topic=55.0
Unfortunately, all the pictures from the message - was removed.
Only the links to videos ready modifications IR turrets. But there were pictures - as you can make IR the pinnacle of the four chips IR receivers and four red LEDs.
If I saved these pictures - I'll show them.
But most likely - no. There's all very simple. IR receiver chip has a 3 foot - minus ground , plus the Volt - and the signal
A new (old) informations about - how to do himself - http://darkith.dyndns.org/~darkith/html/dbu_inst.shtml

I could not find the photos on my hard drive.
So did photography available to me, the IR receiver.
You can read the name of the IR receiver in the photographs.
