tiger1 gun upgrade
Hi ,does anybody know how to upgrade the airsoft gun on a heng long tiger1 tank 1\16,basically either mod or retrofit with another airsoft type.want to shoot atleast 200-300fps not the standard 80-100 fps.
Any advice is appreciated

you can use a VS gun. They will shoot around 150fps +/-. You can however upgrade the HL guns to shoot well over 200fps. Take a look at some of my videos

thanksPerry S. and thomasjohnmurphy i want at least 200-400fps. do you know any specific units that will fit a tiger1 ,will go co2 if required but having issues sourcing it for my heng long tiger1...

You will not get 440fps with an upgraded stock Hl gun. I just picked up a madbull 6.01mm inner diameter barrel. I currently use 6.03mm barrels. This will help with more power but not sure just how much

This guy is trying to replace his old 22 long, hunting rifle he's not aloud to own any more hidden in an RC tank. this kind of stuff brings back to a post that was made lately about ridiculous FPS ratings in RC tanks. Granted Australia's new laws are crap but for the good of THIS hobby. I don't recommend such high FPS's EVER.

Some of my tanks shoot a 0.20g bb 200 +/- fps. If you sit right behind the tank you can just see the bb's flight. Any faster than that you can only guess where the bb is going.

wrong wrong.dont have a hunting rifle.
im in it for the fun with a tank that shoots bb.please dont speculate with no facts.
All i wanted was to get the right gearbox or co2 upgrade to use in tank wars.simple and not sinister
