Bulldog metal suspension parts
Does anyone here have any idea why there are no metal suspension parts for the hl Bulldog, other then metal tracks & drive sprockets? I've kinda hit a brick wall finding any myself on the web. I did find a post here from 2008 asking for interest in the same thing, but it seems it fizzled. They seem to be a good seller tho. Time to engineer my own idler adjusters etc i guess lol.

RE: Bulldog metal suspension parts
i thought of asking around the local machine shops for custom made parts. perhaps they could make suspension arms too. i was wondeing before if any of the micro or mini scale rc trucks shocks would work on the bulldog. a set of oil filled or grease filled shocks would offer superior suspension dampening to these tanks!

If you're going to ask to for custom stuff, you might as well go whole-hog and get some sort of internal torsion spring that will allow you to remove the 3d and 4th struts. HL put those in there for ease and convenience but they didn't exist on the real tank.
Did the same thing to the Pershing, too. [:'(]

No metal parts that i have ever seen or heard of other than sprockets and tracks. Why would you need them any way. The BullDog has great suspension just like the Pershing.

Because I've already had the screw pull out of the back of one idler wheel. A new plastic set is on the way from Mato. This tank hasn't even been through a whole battery yet.

Thats not good.I guess returning it as defective is not an option. not one i would take myself. Can you reinforce everything with some washers on both sides?
I dont have a Bulldog just the Pershing but they look very similar.
