Build a 2 acre battlesite.

Build 1 acre outdoors, with a lake for my LCM, LCVP and amphibious models, and a running river, for my bridges..... steel, wood and pontoon. Throw in a Bailey bridge.

Build a 1 acre indoor battlesite. With heating, airconditioning, appropriate lighting and a snack bar.

The battlesites would be divided into the landscaping of North Africa, Bavaria, Italy and France.

I goofed. I overlooked The Pacific Islands and the Philipines. Buy another acre, at the beach.

How could I forget Russia???? Buy another 10 acres. Where it snows.

Build a large shop with every hand and power tool a guy could ever want. Stocked with materials and spare parts.

Build a showroom on the shop to display all of my goodies.

Buy a bunch of restored AFVs and soft skins to drive around on my adjoining 638 acres just for fun between battles.

What have I missed?

I know I have forgotten something..........

Dammit, I told you to be quiet about that. Besides, that was last year and my scars have almost healed. My therapy and community service will be completed on Feb. 1st.

Rex, your dreams are similar to mine. I have an acre so my dream is to have a battlefield with a running 1/16 river on it.
Know nothing about the midgets.

Well Rex, I have 40 acres. I have made a semi-developed " Tankland " of about 2 acres with roads, hills and a river. The river was a lot of work, it's set up to capture runoff from the driveway and funnel it under my bridge. No buildings yet, but I do have a bridge and some fuel tanks to defend. Everything stays outside all year so it must be weatherproof.

I have some hazards you all may not ever deal with. When a herd of elk comes through it looks like an allied bombing run. Hundreds of craters ( elk tracks ) in a rough line accross my roads make getting around very slow. When I repair the roads I can't help but think about how much extra work the Germans went through after one of our bombing missions.

If you come out to visit one of your kids, PM me and we can have a battle on my Tankland.

If you have a spare room you would like to rent (in the bunkhouse?), I would like to move in. I would be willing to pay rent and work as your battlefield maintenance man. I have the skills to be a Senior Executive Property Management Consultant, but I'm willing to start small.

The cabin is too small to share, 300 sqft, but there is plenty of room for a tipi.

You do not need to bring the kids, but some tanks would be cool. LOL

Oh, I forgot to mention, it's 20 min. from the liquor store in Montrose.
