Perhaps of interest to scratch builders
I noticed there were a lot of posts round here of people lookiing for plans of this and that and there being virtually no resources on the web for that sort of thing.
So I took a game I know has tanks and started trying to pull the models out with a view to being able to use them to sketch out rough plans of various tanks and things in a similar way to using paper model plans to rough out a tanks overall shape.
Here is the overall model for a TIger (first shot). The handy thing is one can pull out the polygons of interest used to make upi the model and just view them: heres one where I delete the turret and just want the hull (second picture).
In the thrid one I just want the turret:
In the fourth I just wanted the base of the gun.
Then there is a hull of a panzer II. I know these will never form museum piece models but I reckon being able to form simple views and plans of various tanks (and there are a HUGE range, of varying quality) for various games could be somewhat of an asset to the scratchbuilder.
I at least hope to use this to help me in some projects.

There's a fella named David Byrden who has done something similar with the Tiger. If memory serves the website is tiger1.info
