Default RX18 versions

Hi all, I know there was a post recently on this subject but I've just changed my board out after blowing the original one, however the one I blew had version 6.0 stamped on the back whereas the one I've replaced it with has v 4.0 on it. The boards themselves look the same. After running the new board (and adding a fan this time) I've found the only difference to be the sounds. The engine start up and shut off is different, the cannon fire is very different (not as good in my opinion) but there now seems to be no clacking sound when engaging forward or reverse which I am actually pleased about.

Does anyone know what all the differences are and what is the latest version? Thanks in advance.

Consider yourself lucky. I hate the clacking sound coming out of the version 6 board.

I think the 6 board was for the KV-1 when they first brought it out. That was the first tank i heard it in. All my others sound like the original.
