Yet, another silly movie. in snow no less...
This weekend I put my son through a rigorous training exersise.
We drove tanks through snowy terrain to locate and destroy a supply station set up by " BAD GUYS "near the front lines. My son is 5, so please, nobody take " Bad Guys "personaly. We simulated hits on " Friendly's " and used an IR target circut to score hits we made. It was 3 days of fun in the snow, just us boys, cause mom stayed home. This is all the good scenes rolled into 2 min. of movie.

Very nice...a couple shots looks pretty realistic. What did you use for smoke on the knocked out tank? Looks better than my smoking T-34, a lot more smoke....and black..

Smoke bombs from my kids 4th of July stash. They were blue, pink, yellow, grey and green. Computers make it all look like black oil smoke, with lt grey fuel and ammo smoke thrown in. I edit out the part where I light the fuse. I shoot black powder, so I am working on some explosive charges too, but that is just on the drawing board so far. I'll film them if they work and I don't get hurt!

I watched your movie, it looked like lots of fun. We talked about you guys, I would have liked to have seen it. Post more vids if you can.
I don't live close enough to any other tankers to have a battle, so I am training my son.
The movies are a fun way to chalange my modeling skills cause the camers shows everything. I like to think up new shots from diferent angles to show off the tanks. Sort of glamor photography of tanks. It's more fun than just driving around and shooting at stuff.

That was a really good film, I enjoyed watching it.........3 times so far. I'm surprised the track links didn't get packed up with snow. I guess there are perfect conditions that would prevent this from happening. Where did you get the track with the "duckbills"?
You just gotta keep doing videos!

The "duckbill" tracks are Winterketten tracks. I got them from RC Command, good luck with that. I think the are Impact, but they could be Asaitam, I have CRS and do not recall for sure.
Sometimes the snow is good, and sometimes it is bad...
Thanks for all the complaments, It's fun to share them.

I love the sound track. Reminds me of some silent movie from the twenties. I was waiting to see Charlie Chaplin come running out dressed up as "The Dictator" ordering the tanks around! Great effects and filming, well done!
