Chief, Just a friendy reminder. Before applying power to the tank make sure that you have soldered the new led to the resistor thats presently wired to the old led. It`s only a 1/8 th watt resistor and is usually covered with a piece of spaghetti tubing, so it`s easy to miss. It`s physically located within 2" of the
original led.

Heat from a soldering iron can destroy an LED. They are much more sensitive than those of 20 years ago.
Use needlenose pliers as a heat sink on the doide side of the lead when soldering to wire.

Thanks guys for all your impute, I have installed the new emitter today that Jim aka Buckeye posted the part # for. and along with some spares to keep in the tool box. Tested it and it works fine, but Tomorrow I will be re routing the emitter like my brother JOE aka YELLOWSHAKER posted yesterday. that install brought back something i read a while back, thanks Joe .thanks for the offer Gregg Panther G. Charlie the Tamiya has no resistor in line, heavyslead I was careful with the soldering but the wires have to go on correctly, the white wire in this case neutral wire has to be attached to the cathode lead this is located where at the base of the bulb it has a flat side. thanks all again
