Default Engine deck MG mount

Anyone know of a vendor/person that sells the AA MG mount on the rear engine deck of a JT?
Could just scratch one but wanted to make sure before I got into it.

Thanks.

yea, I know the Juckenburg JT kit comes with one, but don't really feel like buying a whole kit for a frickn MG mount....thats for sure.

Thought it was the Juckenburg...could be another resin kit though. Only the late production JT's got the rear MG mount. Otto Carius wrote in his memoirs that
it was suicidal to use the MG in that mount since it had no protection.

I bought the AA MG 42 kit from welsh dragon models about 15 months ago, but I don'tsee it listed anymore. It was very expensive ( about $40) so I think you would be better off to scratch build the stand.

basically it is just a pole mounted mg42. The stand fit into a socket on the engine hatch and the end with the machine gun was a fairly simple clevis swivel. had one on my old KT. hope this helps. I had reference material at the time but it eludes me now. here is another modeling site that shows a better view then i offered.
