Default Wecohe Panther G Hull Hatches

Hi Guys,

Iam fitting Wecohe working hull hatches to my panther G and was wondering if anyone has some detailed pictures of how they go together?

Lots of tiny bits in these kits and I don't want to 'cock em up'

Cheers

The general tone of this forum seems to have gone downhill recently much to my sadness

But as the general tone may have gone down so as the laziness it took me 15 minutes to find that picture on a site I wasn’t aware of there seems to be a growing army of people who ask first before they bother to look granted in this instance it’s not one of the daily questions like “Does a late Tiger have steel wheels†or “Did all late Tigers have zimmerit†so yes I suppose my answer was crass and deserved a crass response so I shall take a kick in the gonads without complaint[:-]

OFf topic CaptB but I used to live in Fleet back in the early 70s. Went to Calthorpe Park and my Dad ran Maxwell's on Reading Road South. We emigrated to the Colonies in '73.

You ever see Stick Wars on Youtube? Brilliant little film and it was filmed in Fleet.

I am doing the same thing and there are many smal parts included. Nice detail but no idea as to where they go?

I don't want to 'cock em up'
= I do not want to install them incorrectly......

Is it possible RC thought he wrote "I don't want to LOOK them up"?

Either way, the response was a bit short / abrupt / rough / harsh / terse / curt / brusque/ blunt / sharp / gruff / rude / discourteous.......

(would not want to be misconstrued)

Ithought this was a forum for helping fellow tankers?.............I've been an engineer and RC modeller for years and have never experienced such rudeness when asking fora simple bit of help......what's the point of this forum if people are not going to help each other or be offensive in the process?........I did search the web for this info and contacted Wecohe, as well as asked for help on this forum. What the hell is wrong with seeking help in more than one place?

God forbid you do something wrong here, I guess its a sin to ask questions without searching the web for it first...So Rivetcounter, if it bothers you so much answering our stupid questions then maybe you should leave it to someone else who might acually want to help a new person instead of driving them away from our forum by being a DICK!

Hi Tangmere22,

What a coincidence.................Calthorpe park is still going strong and is recognised as a very good school locally...............with regard to the hatches, I have all the information I need now from my research on here and elsewhere so thanks to all who contributed..........no hard feelings eh!..........lets just build nice models and help each other here or the forum will die.....................

Cheers again

CaptainB I found a Panther G FO build by Anton Eissens using the Wecohe hatches, just scroll down a little and you'll see. Hope this helps you out.

Nice find pjzgr, great and helpfull photos. I am glad and hopefull the bickering is over with. Let's all move forward and forget about the past?  Let this forum and group stick together and support each other? Please remember, there are no dumb questions, just someone seeking an answer and help from the experience of others.
Thanks

Curious, what are ou doing about th 2 hinge pins for the hull end? Mine have rectangular studs at the base for the mounting into the hull.
