Default BMD-4,T-64A and ATS-59 1:8 scale

Hello! I want to show you our models of tanks on a scale 1 / 8. Models of self-made. Cash costs are minimal. Making a single model takes 5-6 months. If you have any questions, happy to answer them.
P.S. I write through the translator.

Riding on wet snow is very different from the dry. But the test was worthy. There is one point in the video, where ATS about what it hits, it was under the snow lay a concrete barrier. During the tests no one model is not affected.

Your models are beautifully made. I see you are using hinges for the tracks. Are they ordinary door hinges? It looks like you have modified them to mesh with the drive wheel.

How do you make the details? What is the material for the T-64 turret and detailed parts?

I think the hobby group at www.rctankcombat.com would be very interested in information on how you build the tanks. There is also a Google forum associated with that website.

Hello. Thanks for your feedback.
Quite right, the caterpillars are made of loops. On the sides are made grooves for engaging the drive wheel.
The tower is made of different materials. From the beginning frame is made of wood, then pasted foam, processed to the desired form and coated glass fiber with epoxy resin. Hoist shaft is inserted from the front.
Full production models can be found here:

I think that rctankcombat.com, have seen our models, and probably attend this forum.

Very nice modeling. Quite a nice way to supply the tracks. that always seems to be the biggest hurdle in building large scale tanks and vehicles.
I have seen the hinge method used before but yours seems to work quite well. Very nice work.
what are the pricing ranges?

Thank you for your feedback.
On models of large-sized caterpillars biggest problem. And in their tanks using only the loop, since there is no way to make authenticity truck.
For each model expended approximately $ 150-200, without electronics. Doing everything by hand. Always test a model in the difficult conditions that would show the reliability of the assembly.

P.S. I write through the translator, sorry for the mistakes.

Hi Papirus,

Very nice beasts you got there. What sort of price range and build time are we talking about building the T64 shown in the video?

Thank you friends!
in the production of the model takes 5-6 months and about $ 200 without electronics. then setting a tank or a tractor for normal movement for 2-3 months
Gyro set up for very long, there are some features in achieving results.
Currently working on a BMP-2M Berezhok, scale 1 / 8. gyroscope will be installed in the trunk of the tower. the T-64 gyro on the barrel is not possible

Does this price mean the hull, turret, drive system (motor, transmission, tracks, wheels), gun system (turret traverse, gun elevation and recoil)? Seems very tempting for only $ 200...

All listed correctly, but the model does not shoot. We have supplies and spare parts are cheaper than yours, for this, such costs are small.

No need for shooter tanks (BB/Paint) as its basically illegal here in Oz. But for the price of the build, that seems very tempting.
Whats the total build cost of the T64 (with gyro) you have shown in the video?
How heavy is this?

Can you build another one for someone else? If so can you message/email me the details and quote for a 1:8 scale T64 (less the electronics) similar to what you have shown on the video

Drawing parts of the tank painted by hand on paper. There are no patterns left, all the models are made in one piece. Here is a forum where everything is described, the site does not. http://forum.rcdesign.ru/f99/thread202283.html
The total cost of the model did not consider. The gyroscope is $ 12, motor control tower $ 15, Turnigy 9X and servos.
Information on the tank is on the Internet http://dic.academic.ru/dic.nsf/enc_tech/4310/%D0%A2-64
