What turret is included in this kit - Juckenburg KV-85?
Is it this IS-2 kit?
http://modellbau-schmiede.de/

Im looking for original IS-2 turret - is it produced by anyone?

It sure looks like the KV-85 turret. Not like an IS-2. There are some similarities but also differences. From that view it definately looks like the KV.

The turret is that of the KV-85, which is smaller, mainly on the left side, and the commander cupola is in a slightly different position.
Very similar, but not the same as the IS-2, and that's what kept me from buying the kit (well, apart from the price...)

Key dimensions of towers JS-2 and KV-85 is virtually identical.
Differences have
1. Tide on the tower by the commander of the JS-2 - there are more
2. The location of the axes of
charging hatchhave different
3. Position of the output antenna is different
4. Mask gun is different. In the JS-2 at least three versions of masks of the guns and they all are differ from the KV-85
5. Railings on the tower - different

In addition
1. Rollers on theJS-2 is less than the KV-85
2. All rollers are identical and do not differ from idler
3. The leading stars in the JS-2 have a smaller number of rays at 2 or less in diameter
4. Because of paragraph 3 - the height of bath and mounting height of support rollers - other than on the KV-85

Yes , I agree it seems that the Juckenburg KV-85 turret is too small or some its dimensions are not excately in scale - Profiline KV-85 turret is much more accurate.
Shouldn't the IS-2 turret be a little bigger? - the gun was longer , but Im not an expert

Below IS-2 tank in 1/6 scale - the turret looking different than Juckenburg KV-85 (its bigger)

nope! after completion only now! BTW i love hearing the experts discussing dimensions and accuracy and never seem to consider the factory variables and field differences that show up in the real thing. Makes me smile!! Blackcat seems to have the right perspective and maybe some real knowledge.

Yes, I had to learn all these differences, when I made my JS-2 and KV-85 is not from strangers kit sets.
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_10057459/tm.htm
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_10102907/tm.htm
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_10290201/tm.htm

And I know exactly where I had to slightly change the shape of the tower gun and a mask that would have got a standard mechanism for Airsoft gun from Heng Long. And where I made mistakes in the slope of the armor plates.

Yes, we are not experts but simply discussing about the IS-2 kit and its quality
http://modellbau-schmiede.de/
One of the aim of this forum isinformation exchange.
In my opinion for such great sum of money the kit should be perfectly made - the hull is perfect but the turret quality is not good. Not only dimensions but detaling too - the Profiline KV-85 is better detailed and scaled (I know - the price is greater too)
Maybe It would be better when this IS-2 kit will be ofered with Profiline KV-85 turret instead of Juckenburg?
Of course it only my opinion . Everybody can choose - to buy or not to buy this kit. Personally I will not buy it until the turret will be corrected. I also see the big difference between this IS-2 1/16 kit turret and IS-2 in 1/6 scale

I wrote the author of this KIT on the inconsistencies of its JS-2 real JS-2 ..
He replied something like this (replay is on the forum ) - they makes a KIT, which can raise anyone who can buy details of an upgrade for the KV-85.
In fact, the KIT is very good and it is easy to become more like the IS-2.
1. Purchase an additional (or copy itself), two rollers and put them in place to idlers (replace big idler KV-85 on roller KV-85)
2. Make yourself right sprocket (
drive sprocket).
3. Move below the support rollers

This is the basic, which dramatically unlike the JS-2

Tank IS-2 had several different masks of canon . Therefore, the tower itself from the KV-85 is not so much hurts an eyes, as does the idler and a drive sprocket

Maybe do I start to do right metal
drive sprocket. for the JS-2 with my master models and sell them?

But in Russia is practically impossible to sell something abroad

Not correct information, we (in Russia) have quite good examples how the produced staff is soldabroad... Figures that are made in Russia are being sold to Australia, and some other examples as well.
You need to produce first something, market your product, then find the dealer or at least have contacts or partners abroad and then sell.

If you produce not bad wheels in 16th scale - why not to sell them?
