I'm very interested inyour initial tiger.
But I can't see any image you upload. Do you have some links for me.

Mud flaps have been cut out and groove cut on upper edge of side plates in the front. The groove was a hinge point for extra frontal armor on the initial Tigers that folded up onto the front glacis. They decided that they didn't need it later.

Hey it's looking good. I tried to answer your last PM, but it doesn't seem to go through so I will answer here. The hinges I bought here;
http://www.phoenixmodeldevelopments....nge_Range.html
The long piano ones. I cut to length and filled in the holes on one side so I could redrill them to match the other side not to be offset as they came. As for the rear fenders I don't remember, but I can measure them when I pull it from storage. If there is any other questions feel free to ask here or PM, that is I can PM back if not I will answer here like I am doing now.
Here is a link to my build at the DAK site. Plus my Panther we talked about and quite a few other great builds. So look around there you will get some great idea's from some talented guys.
Tiger 1 142 build http://web.mac.com/ethandunsford/DAK...Tiger_142.html
Panther A build (still in progress, but I am working on it) http://web.mac.com/ethandunsford/DAK...Panther_D.html
And some video of them in action Tiger 1 and my King Tiger; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGjlh1SbxZM
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFLpBA-HLWc
The King Tiger is getting fitted with new Mr-Desighn Gearboxes http://mrdesigngearboxes.webs.com/manualkingtiger.htm
I will post when done and how they work out. I got tired of stripping out the gears in Impact ones. So we will see. This KT tips the scale at almost 17lbs.
Keep up the good work.
Richard

I added extra thickness to hull. Now lower and upper parts better fit together and all is more stiff. Upper part of hull also got this upgrade.
