Default Firefly from a converted Viper Sherman

Here are a few pics of a Sherman Firefly that I converted from a Viper Sherman. Good friend and fellow member of the Ottawa One Sixth Club Geoff(Johnny Canuck) asked me to convert two of his viper shermans into firefly's. I agreed and he brought down 3 viper shermans along with several other tanks and a WSC. The deal was to do 2 fireflys and a turretless recce Stuart for him and I keep one viper sherman, an rc Stuart, and the WSC for doing his tanks for him.To make a long story short here are pics of the 1st of 2 firefly's. I have to thank John(ECA), Dave(Armorpax), and Steve(Panzerwerk) for their superior detail parts that made the project so easy.... As always comments are most welcomed.... Thanks Harold

The viper shermans would be a major chore to rc being all resin. The transmission section of the hull is almost one solid piece and the sprocket axels are in place when the section was cast, and trying to get the axel out without destroying the piece would be almost impossible. The hull alone weighs out between 40-50 pounds

Absolutely stunning work on the Firefly, I also like the Staghound in the diorama.

Here is a picture of a latter Firefly variant during the Ardennes offensive this when the British re-took Namur, you can see the citadel on top of the hill in the background

Where did you get all the plain Pixie suits from
