Guys, I am working on the KT and wanted to make the lighting functional.I found this website aq while back and thought I'd share with you all. Using a pico switch, I am able to hook up the 1mm LED with full power from the 7.2v battery pack. These work on 9v, so you need no resistors inline. I just finished installing it in the kT and works prerfectly.

Cool deal Yellowshaker,
LED's are wired and already have the resistor in them. You can see it as the bulge under the shrink tube in the left hand lead
Good LED installation tips on the link on the same page

Yellowshaker,
I just noticed you have a Tauchpanzer with Elmod. I'm not so much interested in the elmod, but whether or not you have a recoil mechanism installed. I've been having a dickens of time trying to get an Asiatam unit installed in the Pz III H"Tauchpanzer" I have. I'm having problems with gun alignment and I don't know if there are some slight differences between the Pz IIIH and the Pz IIIL.

Yes Frank, i have an Asaitam unit in mine. It was actually designed for a Tiger 1 so making it fit in the PIII hull was a challenge. The brackets are different, so I ended up making my own. I think Phil could tell you if there is any differences in the units for the PIII though. What problem arfe you having exactly with the gun alignment? Do you have any pictures?

Yellowshaker,
Here's the link to a previous thread where I tried to get the gun alignment worked out.

Scroll down a bit to the pictures I posted. The recoil is working, but the mantlet is spaced out too far and shifted down relative to the turret. Since then I modded the mounting holes for thetrunion mountsto close the gap up and shift it up, but now the gun gets locked up in themetal bushing. I'm getting a bit frustrated and thinking about trying to mod a HL recoil unit per the Bubbajoe method on RCCommand website
