Default Its been a while.

Its been a while since I've been here but after a series of absolutely crushing events, I'm trying to get back in the hobby. Heck I don't even have any tanks anymore after loosing them all in a fire, including the Mato Sherman I was given for the small amount that I helped with that project. I miss that one, will never be given a tank like that again

Anyways since I've been out for a year or two, I got a few questions:

1) What ever happened with that Hooben T-55? I see some posts about a Hooben Elephant. Did the T-55 get canceled or something?
2) Where is everyone getting their HL tanks these days? Still Phil at RCTankWars and Bill at RC Command?
3) I'm now living in Tennessee about 50 miles from where Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia meet. Anyone know of any clubs in a reasonable distance?

Thanks.

Phil is still a good source, RCCommand is gone.
Hooben's T-55 molds wore out, the Elefant kit is now available.

Wish I could but I have to work. Which is okay because I need money to buy a tank again. I'll get there some day though.

I remember you from back in 2009! Sorry to hear you lost your tanks in a fire. I'm now having to take a hiatus from this hobby due to bad choices and life circumstances, so I kind of know how that crap goes (as in crushing events).

Yeah, the T-55 came and went while you were gone.. Anyway, I remember your screen name and avatar. The Barking Squirrel with the "hair trigger". That squirrel is bad ass!

Someday, maybe I'll be back in action too..

Barking!

Check with www.rctank.de, at [link=http://www.rctank.de/product_info.php?cPath=21_104&products_id=1257]THIS link...[/link], as they still have their T55's on sale.

Thats where I got mine, but if ya do, ask 'em to open her up, and re-bag the track links and track pins, otherwise they'll end up ALL over the box...

Hope that helps ya out!
