RE: CAN-AM Battleday July 16th
Naturally the Russians need the T55 to battle the Awesome Pantiger.
Some nice pictures Stince, thanks for the tank sticker too, it was nice to meet the boys from Windsor ,a fun day for all.
Thanks to Tims Mom and dad with helping out.
I must now start my Sherman build using my new SLU unit ,I hope to have it finished by the next meet..

RE: CAN-AM Battleday July 16th
I had a great time. The temperature was super hot, so it was great to have the event tents, water and BBQ. Thanks again lads.
Thanks to Stince and Airbrusher for making the trek from Windsor.
The IR battles were fun and we saw a nice mixture of TBU, DBU and SLU on the field. Ke's T-55 was great, now I want one.
The awesome Pan-Tiger was entertaining as usual.
Lots of buildings, trees, and soldier decorated the field, including Captain America. We also decided to expand the field this fall once the ground softens up.
More Epic Tank battles to come!

Airbrusher,
no I never figured out what the micro switch at the back of the airsoft gun was for. Perhaps someone on the forum knows.
Stince can still connect his airsoft to the M1 slot on the SLU using wire provided in the package and installing a jumper on J3 on the SLU.
The airsoft gun and the IR emitter will fire at the same time (right stick up) unless he re-installs an inline switch on the airsoft wire to turn off the airsoft motor. This would be the same switch that was removed to make room for the IR receiver that was mounted in the loaders hatch. If you guys come back in August, I can do the work for you.

Guys:
I ~hope~ to make it to the August meet... but things seem to finally be coming together for my medical tratment, and who knows how I'll feel. Bweginning to get back at the tanks too, but today it topped out at 31c, 38c with the dex, and tomorrow is supposed to be ~worse~ (35c plus the 'dex)
I got a caption for that 4th pic in Stince's second set, with the Tiger climbing over the teeth: " Vatch Dis, Hans! " . The Axis is to cowardly to show the 'After' pic, much like the old MasterCard adverts:
[ul][*] Cost of a vintage WW2 German Pz.Kfw. VI Tiger 1E: $ ;[*] Training to drive the vehicle from a WW2 Tiger tank veteran: $ ;[*] Cost of a vintage WW2 Dragonstooth obstacle: $[*] Catching an image of what happens when said driver tries to climb the 'tooth' and rolls the tank? ~Priceless~!
[/ul]
" There are some things money can't buy. For everything else, there's the Master Race." (Third Reich slogan!)
Hope to see ya in August, 'kay?

The Tiger definitely lives up to it's namesake, "Mad Mona". The new SLU in it makes a fun tank to drive.
PS Thanks again for the install Tim.

Glen,
try your airsoft again with a fully charged battery. The problem might have been the weak battery. I posted some pics of your tank on my other T34 thread.
Stince,
I do remember that you bottomed out your Tiger on the hedgerow during the first IR game. LOL

Those are great battle photos guys! How does the owner of the T-55 like his tank? Any major problems with it?

I am the owner of that T55. Yes I like it just because I spent time in building it.
I am lucky, not big issue on my T-55 so far.
But there were tons of tiny issues when I built it.
