Okay everything will be okay . . .right? Now I love Tigers as you all know. . . .but I saw a Tamiya Panther G. . . .and and now I am between the two. . . life is so unfair!!!!!!

You and I have been talking for years now. You are a very big Tiger I fan. Build your T I first. That is the one you will enjoy the most. The Panther is a great battler but I know you heart and soul will be content with the Tiger kit. Built the Tiger first.

Chief, I have neither of the tamiya kits you are looking at, so my opinion is neutral in that respect. Now, I have seen both in action and have to say you can't go wrong with either tank. Personally, I am partial to the Tiger 1 because it is simply menacing. With your experience with the Tiger, there is no limit to what you can build! Oh heck...who am I kidding here? I'm with Buckeye, buy em both!

Ever since you have been around here it's always been about the Tiger I. So get that one! It's a good build with plenty of aftermarket options to go with. Like I said earlier, the kit can stand to have a metal barrel, and I do believe Stella Models on eBay has one for the TI for under 20 bucks last I saw.

Don, the Panther is just about the best Tamiya fighter you can get and a hell of a lot of fun to drive. Very tough choice but since you have tigers go with the Panther. You WILL LOVE IT.

Good point. If he already has Tigers ... get the Panther then!!
