Hey guys, can anyone recommend a good KV 1/2 reference book please thats available in or to the UK?

I will be buying Tamiyas KV-2 soon and like to do a bit of research first - like variations, camo schemes, detailing etc.

hooo...
well the best books about KV-2 are by Maxim Kolomiyets and Mikhail Bariatinsky... very comprehensive evaluation and investigation...
but they are in russian...

which tanks are you interested in (period)...?</p>

I will advise you couple of very good web-resources full of kv (different) pics... and give you the link where u can download the books... but they will be only in russian... sorry </p>

Not many variations on the KV-2 in the first place.Just one turret change that i know of. May be a couple of different guns. not much to work with as far as variants go. Now the KV-1 that's a different story.

MM.. To be honest - not realy... First5 prototypes differed from the followed tanks... These machinesmay bearethe mostr interesting from modelling perspective...
U-0 U-1 U-2 U-3 U-4 - are very intersting... but againonly for kv fans...
for some they might seem ugly and uncapable to fight...
