Carmageddon.....

What a bust story this was. Almost as bad as the Geraldo Rivera special documentary..."The Secrets of Al Capone's Vault" where he opened it on live television only to find...nothing.
Pretty much a non-event in L.A. I noticed the local news had a live traffic chase on last night (which occur at least weekly). Must have been a slow news night....

I think that same tank (how many are in the L.A. area anyway?) was at E3 (video game show) a couple weeks ago promoting the world of tanks game. Maybe they're taking it down to San Diego for Comicon which is this week.

I guaranty you that you are way above average intelligence for the media. I lived in Jax FL for years, and the news there is, to be kind, juvenile in both perception by the media and written execution. Did not mean to tar you with the Jax brush, though!
Is that T 34 possibly the Littlefield unit? Can't be too many of them floating around in that neck of the woods.

hasn't been updated in quite sometime, a 'management' team that has alienated more former supporters than Carters has pills
( besides being closed mouth in the the extreme, at times nearly hostile) and ongoing financial doldrums that will only get worse...
I should post the photos I took from happier times when Jacques had taken delivery of his T-34 over here at Benecia....

Jerry.......Please post those photos!!!!!!!!
Please......pretty please......with sugar on top.......and any other photos you have of your long time friendship with Jacques "in the good old days".
I was told you helped him build an R/C tank back when R/C stuff used vacuum tubes and solenoid actuated relays...........confirm or deny!

I'll have to scan the T-34 photos Rex, they're here somewhere. His also received his Abbot that day.
No, sorry Rex, when I first met Jacques he had already built his M60 and T-34. He had but one 1:1 scale vehicle; a
US halftrack, I forget which version, in which we drove around Pony Tracks .... I remember the day well.
He had changed focus to the larger machines but hadn't known where to get them at the time, hard to believe now.
I brought him information that soon after netted him his first Sherman, Stewart and Sexton.
