Thanks guys .
Anyhow have had some issues with airbrush sputtering paint so the dusty cover on the rear funnel got a bit heavy trying to cover the patchy paint. The clumps of sand at the bottom went odd 'cos the glue I used to attach made the pigment very dark, painting over created 'tide marks' so had to be expanded, looks more like mud now :/ .
(been wanting to do a Kilroy for ages )
And the other thing I have been spending the odd 5 minutes on around work is;
Held on by a screw at the back of the trans cover, the screw hole was there from the start so I had planned this 8|
Hope to paint it soon and maybe get the wheels sorted too :O :S

I have finally added the retaining cables not present on all deep wading Shermans but on the BoB ones, and I think it looks quite good (though not obvious);
I just made some hooks from staples and tied thread to them at either end, attached to handles but easily removed.
Also painted the hedge row cutter, a bit more dusty than I wanted again but oh well;
So I can go off the boats and up the beach on D-Day with full trunks, after the beach carry on with half stacks, then D+1 onward with hedgerow cutter for the pesky Bocage

Got round to the new shoes at last
There is some small evidence there of the drop earlier , just the lower hull from 10 inches or so but landed on front left mud guard where most of the damage is, and left motor is quite temperamental now but no visible reason why.
Got to mix up some paint anyway...........
Cheers

Looks great!

Not only do I love Panthers but Shermans happen to be my favorite tank.
