Yeah, I thought of your Bruder experiment a while ago.

I like the fact that there is no door on the drivers side. Is it the drivers side?
~~~~~~~
There are doors on both sides of the Bruder tractor cab, they just don't show up very well. The door handle is recessed so that it flush with the door surface. It covered by that painted black band. I couldn't find a photo of the rig without a load on the trailer. Maybe that configuration has been discontinued. It was cheaper, about $50.
Oh, no door on the mystery scout car. Well on MY driver's side anyway... Hint, hint.
We have a Bruder semi too. It's my son's, so I haven't painted it green... yet. I love your dragon wagon scratch build. It's cool, yes not as cool as those Victoria's Secret models, but those are hard to scrach build.
Yes, Ian seems to know much more about these things than me. I'm learning so much with this thread.
It was nice to see a fellow Tenn. boy get in a coup. I was born east of you, in the Smokeys.
My instincts are making me suspect that we have a Professional ID Dude on this thread who has dozens of research people feeding him the answers. We need to investigate the source of his knowledge!!!!
He's definitely a ringer! It's also helpful to him that he's got dang models of just about all the vehicles y'all are putting up pictures of!
Truth be told, I'm from Michigan, but I've lived down here for 3 1/2 years, and taken a lot of ribbing for being a Yankee in the process Well worth it though, it's great here, although unbearably hot and humid sometimes.
South Chicago eh Rex? I spent some time there 3 years or so ago watching the Sox take two out of three from the Tigers, which was sad for me. Chicago's awesome though!
That tank looks awesome, albeit with some track issues! British?
That's a surprise to me. I would have bet money it was French, because of the track and lower chassis design, but the turret looked British.
I'm also from Michigan ( Royal Oak), you think you get ribbing. Live in Georgia and work in South Carolina. A week doesn't go by that a couple comments don't come along in reference to my accent.
No doubt, one of the back halls of Kubinka. Main gun is actually a missile launcher, and it has the typical Sov tow hooks etc.
