I did a little research and there were many types (at least five) of the duckbill.

As soon as I find out more I will let you know. Availability is supposed to be just around the corner.

Not exactly sure these are the duckbills Panther G wanted, but they are duckbills.!!!!!!!

I wonder if the will just make the extenders available. Looks like you could add them to any style of Sherman track.

I don't care the metal Tiger.
I only hope they can improve their Sherman.

Kind of annoying how every link of those metal tracks have a giant 'mato' stamped on it... kinda ruins the scale realism

Those appear to be "raised" lettering so a sanding drum could eliminate those easily. What I think is more annoying are the pour marks which are more easily seen and look sunken in.

your right pantherf the "mato" is raised and a dremel should make light work of it
not so sure i fancy filling those pour marks though

Any idea how much the Henglong king tiger will go for?  I hope it's not some outrageous first-release-first-dip-double-the-price fest.

Yes Dan, those are the exact end connectors I have been whining about forever now. I dont believe the Jumbo used the all metal track but at this point i dont care. It really seems that MATO is LISTENING.

Jeff , there hwere actually many more styles. The allies where in such demand for the duck bills they actually had local factories in the liberated areas manufacture them for the Sherman tanks.

Holy smokes!!! That KT is a major improvement, now if only they would record better engine and gun sounds.

That's where the Tamiya comes in and costs less doing it too.

You are quite right, I sort of missed the 490 EUR price point

I say.....hell with both of them..we got enough versions of any kind of Tiger or Sherman...rather see something different like maybe something British or Japanese..but I doubt that will ever happen...probably get  yet another new company to produce a 1/16 Tiger and Sherman lol. [:'(]

I'd be happy with more Sherman variants, myself.

It's easier and cheaper to copy than engineer your own.
