Stince,

thats a good point. 38mm sloped will probably give you between 50 and 60mms.

So that would be like a 4 on the SLU hit chart.

After some track issues on the "Mad Mona" Tiger at the last meet, I've seem to solve the problem. Upgraded spring and a minor adjustment to the idlers.
Tested it by doing some U-turns in some nice long wet grass, no tracks came off, but did rip up alot of grass!

The Allies better watch out, because the mence is back!

I put the upgrade springs in my Das Reich Tiger I on Friday.

Hey guys! I'm planning on heading down too, and being a first-timer I expect to be appropriately hazed and likely trodden-over quite nicely. [>:]

As it stands I'm currently un-equipped for IR battle but as soon as a Tiger SLU pops up, I will be tearing up the dirt like a madman

My tank is a loose replica of a Schwere Panzer-Abteilung 502 circa Sept. 43' near Stalingrad! I hope it meets scale standards (what are scale standards anyway? wheels are round, it's good!)

Metal tracks, suspension, springs, sprocket & idler. HL metal gearbox's.

Going to be fun meeting ya!

Right on! New Blood...so to speak. Welcome to your first battle day, we don't haze people though, and if you want to get in on an IR battle there are usually a couple extra tanks to use.

EXCELLENT!!!! , Welcome

Our fleet of Tigers is growing with your addition , my SLU Tiger I is a Das Reich machine, I will be doing my Abt 506 Tiger I over to Abt 503 and putting an SLU in; my current project is a HL KT, Abt 503, Hungary Oct. 1944 (sorry guys, it will be left at home, in pieces, its a work in progress). We do have a few "cats" besides mine.

Fortunately we're not to big on hazing.

It doesn't matter if your tank is not set up for IR, there are opporunties to drive non-IR stuff on the field, then theres the timed run through a set course.

Lets hope the weather is kind on Oct. 8th.

The only hazing is from the fearsome "Pan-Tiger", mocking us about how inferior we are.

Oh Pan-Tiger, why do you mock us!!!

Hey where is the Captian?

If you get here, first you'll have to get by the speed bump (tipping the scales at about 30lbs.) but dont let her size fool you, she quick, she has the 3:1 gears.
Then you'll have the real "Mad Mona", all 50lbs. of energy and musle. Just make sure you wear a cup, right Airbrushler!
