Yes, it was an excellent day, 70F + degrees, sun screen weather.
Largest turnout yet, bunch of new people, which was great to see. Welcome, it was nice to have you come out.
Personally, as usual, I learned a lot from Captain Action............................................ .................................. my Counselor asures me that with time, effort and therapy, I might be able to forget some of it.
Here are some shots of the field, pre and post set up.

Yes thanks to everyone who attended. 14 Tankers plus 6 or so spectaters. We had our largest IR batlle to date.
The Market Garden scenarios were fun and we have already made plans to expand the field past 4000 sq ft.
The storage trailer made set up and take down easy.
We really do have a fantastic bunch of zipperheads (Canadian slang for a tanker). You guys are the reason for our success. You help out new comers with their tech issues, share IR tanks to allow others to participate and build some fantastic scenery. Thanks again

Thank you everyone for an amazing afternoon and for the bridge to kick start me into my field, and for lending those IRs until I have one on my Bulldog. And converting my lil brother into tanking.

Unique, that Canadians call tankers zipper heads. That's what we used to call guys who parted their hair down the middle. In the US Army we called tankers " tread heads " or" DAT's" ( dumb a** tankers ). I guess it's all a ponit of view, but when ever your under attack, you call them your best friends.

Ya, the term 'zipperhead' was a Canadian slang term given to tankers by the infantry in WW2 because the canuck tankers had zippers in their boots. The term stuck, as did the term Canuck, which was given to us by our US allies. You can use your imagination to figure out wat two words made up that term.
