Default A question

A question for those of you more familiar with rc cars and trucks than I am.

The Tamiya Wild Willy. Is the basic body reasonably close to a scale jeep M38 in 1/10 ( you see where I'm going
with this ) scale or is it exaggerated om any way? I'm pretty sure the chassis isn't suitable for a scale version of
the vehicle as it's a rock crawler( ? ) type with an exaggerated suspension.

I've hoped over the years for a scale M38 in 1/10 scale to no avail. I don't want to completely scratch build one
as I don't want it that much. It would be nice to be able to use some off the shelf components to be able
to shorten the construction time; perhaps being able to mate the wild willy body to a more suitable chassis.

Thoughts?

Jerry

Jerry:

Try to get hold of Willy, I think he has one. But if you need measurements of a more accurate one, I've got a Danbury Mint one I could measure for ya. But I'd honestly have to say its more semi-scale at best. Heck, even comparing some simple measurements off my Danbury whould tell ya if its off... Say the word, and I'll do some, ok?
