I have a question. I have jumped back into the hobby, and think that the Tamiya Leopard 2a6 1/16 tank is the best bet right out of the box. My only question is with minor changes to the turret how hard would it be to convert it to a 2a5. I thought I could cut the a6 barrel down, but then I thought it wouldn't be to scale. My question is, does anyone know of anyone that makes a 2a5 barrel, to work in the 2a6, or a easy way to convert it?
Thank you,
Andy

The A5 barrel is shorter than the A6, but not just cutting it down will get it done.
Here's a good read on the Leo 2

Yeah I know there is some cosmetic differences on the hull and turret. My biggest question was about the gun. It looks like cutting it down would work, but I can't seem to find any info on the gun. I might be a idiot. Thank you for the website, as this is a favorite of mine on both of my computers and my smart phone. Thanks!

The illustration in that link shows the comparison between the L44 and the L55, which after closer examination looks only to be a difference in length.
