I noticed Giant Tiger had a few modern miltary trucks... seemed to be the right scale. As well the Winners near my house had the Bruder with the Backhoe on it.... the full flatbed

Be very leery about lost cost compressors. Most of them are noisy, overheat and just are not efficient.
The bargain you thought you got ends up being a dud.

I have a similar Mastercraft from last year, bought on one of their sales, so far, so good, I've done 7 tanks with it so far, so I think I got my money's worth out of it

That's good to hear. A friend of mine bought what he thought was a good name brand at a reduced price and the thing is very noisy. It gets hot to the point he had to add a cooling fan but performs fairly well.
