Default M4A1 in the snow

SHot some video of the latest tank out in the snow. Unseasonally warm here with temperatures above freezing. Not very good snow to RC in as it sticks and freezes to everthing. I can tell you right now that if this was a Tiger or Panther with interlocking wheels it would be froze up solid.

The Sherman kept on going, even as the snow packed around the idlers. THis has the stock Mato gears and they handled the conditions fine. Without a geardown this is pretty snappy, but it was built for IR battling, so snappy is good.

Benedini sound and DBC3 as an interface with the RX18.

Looks good in the snow.  I like the whitewash.

Funny you should mention Panthers froze up...  ran my Panther in snow today and it was just above freezing.  It ran fine on the packed snow in the shade, but out in the sun the snow was just warm enough that the snow stuck to the tracks.  Soon it was an icy mess and the tracks would not turn.

The Sherman seemed to do well in snow, do you have metal tracks and duckbills?

A Continental radial Sherman engine.

Just stock tracks, and no duckbills, but I could have used them.

Looks and sounds great Dan. I hope to have some $ soon to purchase one of your sound cards with that sound for my LVT 4. I know, wish in one hand and in the other.

I ran my Sherman during a blizzard. If you run it in fresh deep powder the rear end will sink if you slow down. You have to run it as speed and not stop otherwise it will bog down. It will flip over too but if the snow is a little hard it will run great. Love the sound system. How much is that sound system?

This is DBC3 programmed to work with the Benedini. I had a hand in developing the concept, and working with David and Thomas to make it a reality. It is against forum rules to talk cost, but I can lead you to my website

If you have any questions you can either PM me or send an email through the website.
