Can't say that this type of build is my "Cup of Tea" Per Se.  But it is nonetheless interesting and informative.  Thanks for sharing and I look forward to seeing it on the 17th if it is in fact completed by then.

Great model

I can't decide if I want to add panzer IV secondairy style armor like this....

what do you guys think?
I think they would have used the mesh type of armour (as they did on the PzIV's towards the end of the war) as it still did the job but saved on weight and materials.

I think the supplemental armor is perfect.

Oh, you're one of those battlers that drag half the bushes and knock over buildings and trees when you fight, huh?

Make that stuff break away then why don't ya? You're a designer ... DESIGN!!!!

It might make you a better driver. Besides, that big hogg is gonna be like a bull in a china shop anyway, so put it on there!

They shouldn't hate it because it's beautiful. Very cool build. I know I went back an forth with you about the schmal turm, but that was just for discussion sake. I hope you didn't think I hated your turret build? It's a what if tank and there is a lot of room for discretion. Hope to see some photos of it finished !!!

Outstanding work. Love the Octo camp.

No NEAD this weekend? I wanted to run the Ketten around as well as shake out the StuG before I finalize it.

It would have been last weekend (3rd Sunday was the 15th of July)....but only two guys responded that they were attending. We have never had summer battles due to the heat and vacations. We are planing for a August event....Hopefully in south Jersey to draw more NEAD memebers from the DelMarVA area and DC/NOVA perhaps. I had planned on being home just for the NEAD July battleday from vacation. It is not worth it for only a handfull of guys.

The build looks good Scot...I know if fights well too.

Ausf, we can get together for an evening perhaps as soon as I return from vacation. I will be battling with the Can-Am RC tankers this coming Sunday in Ontario. I wish I had a NEAD wingman with me for support....[X(]

Too many Leafs fans in Ontario for me (just kidding guys; lifelong Habs fan, so you probably don't want me there anyway).

Bob, I keep forgetting to sign up on the Yahoo site and use this as my NEAD info area. I'll fix that right away.

Yeah It turned out real well Scott. Great job! We'll see it soon i hope. We could also have a battle day right in my town of Florence. The main municipal recreational fields are directly behind my house. Acres of room and a local American Legion very close. maybe I could speak to a couple of the members there that I know and possibly get them to sponsor an event and get the use of their building and facilities also. I will look into it.

The heck with a summer battle, your place looks like a nice little resort to go unwind and relax at! Maybe show and tell but I wouldn't be playing too much with a place like this.

Oh, and the E-50 is just grand to me! You went through hell and high water with it and I wouldn't change a thing with it.

I agree, the best battle scenario there would be getting pulled off the line for R and R.

Unless transmitters are waterproof.

LSTs?

Reenact the scene in Kelly's Heros when you first see the M4s? (Woof woof woof)
