In the search for a Leopard 2 in North America I never found a Hobby Engine one but off Amazon I found one by "Arctic Hobby"
Does anyone know of their quality? If anything I know it would need an electronic overhaul like Hobby Engine tanks.

i actually considered that aution. Except 1. Paypal takes a year and a half to get funds transferred, and 2. there isnt a buy now button.
But this one I've found in Mississauga so I dont have to pay shipping and it sells for $89.99. The transmitters look the same but the stickers were swapped.

Don't know how you are using Pay Pal where you are, but I have been using it world wide for years and have never had a problem. Even from Germany, Switzerland or Israel, payment is there or to me within minutes.
The Buy Now option is from the seller. If you want to nail it down, use Sniper.

yeah, I'm with Patton...It only takes about two button clicks and your paid!....so you might have to wait 2-3 days if you transfer the money from your pay-pal account to your bank account..but that's nothing. I've been using pay-pal for 10 years without a hitch!... I think you need to give it more of a chance. What I would do is email the seller and ask him if he has a price he'd take now for it., I do that all the time when there's no "buy-now", and at least have the sellers I contact work out a deal with me(especially if there are no other bidders)...

Yes consumers and instant gratification, no wait time
lol. When I pay using paypal its instant. Do you have a paypal employee walk to your bank and then travel to the sellers location?

Didn't mean it takes long to go from consumer to business.. I guess when I used it it was over the Christmas holidays and the 2-3 business days became from December 23 to January 6th
Just my timing. I trust Paypal but never have used Ebay

Paypal and Ebay work very well together and have many 'protections' for assuring payment and refunding. I believe they have the same parent company.
The risk with Ebay is the seller or buyer, which both Ebay and Paypal do a good job of handling disputes.

I my self would actually love to get a second one of these, but i have heard that Hobby Engine is in the process of redesigning these and the Abrams. Perhaps they will be of much better quality as it was also said that they are redesigning the lame track system. So maybe it may pay to wait just a little while longer. I know quite a few guys who want the Abrams. I have some very interesting plans for my HE tanks.

I would wait to see what HEdoes to upgrade them but i plan to rip it apart and do what YHR did to his and do a Leopard 2A6M-CAN
