Oh, you didn't know? This is our job (according to some people) and all we do is play and build tanks!
Post 'em at your convenience.

I did not take any photos but it was a fun weekend.
The rotated apple seemed to work well, and I think most were happy with it.
Although, you can never please EVERYONE.
Oh by the way, I chose a Panther as my raffle prize, which also included a Futaba 2.4 GHz Radio and a Tamiya Battle Unit!!!!!
Thank You Karen(GirlTankette)and the AAF Museum for supporting this hobby! (and me.)
I will post a build thread when I get to build it.

Uploads coming soon, vids and pics.
The TFA (Tamiya Frontal Armor) mod that Dana came up with is a great alternative. Really made play enjoyable.

Tankers! Here is a new video of the March, 2012 event at the AAF Tank Museum indoor battlefield in Danville. The video shows a JagdPanther and then a Sherman EZ8 using the new "TFA" apple mod with the defensive mirror rotated to the front. As you can see in this video, the mod greatly reduces the need for using the fan shot. The 22 tankers gave this mod good reviews.

Don't believe there were any inspections at the March event, anything goes. Watched the video and it kinda reminded me of
watching a kids soccer game. Definitely have to enforce the 3 foot rule.

The jadgtiger (or is that a ferdinand?) knocked over a tree and the statue in the town, is that normal? As in part of normal combat?
Also, does the modern armor like the leos and 55s fight seperate from anything ww2?

Hey Dana
I think it is important to note that this footage was not taken during an "official battle."
This was on Sunday, with just a few of us goofing around.
I (the Pershing) was using the fan shot way more than I do during a normal battle.
Elements of scenery get run over all the time.
That is why we have voluntary work days to fix things.

Yes, that video was just playtime with four of us on Sunday. We were too busy Saturday to film any of the 9 on 9 battles! Much of this playing around was in very tight quarters in Zone One...actual battles don't get that close. I wanted to keep the action close to the camera due to the limited field of view, besides it's hard for the YouTube viewer to see the enemy gun flashes at a distance.
And no, smashing scenery at the battlefield is not allowed. I ran over a couple things for the video. The train trestle is generally out of bounds too, but it looks cool in a video.

Yes, the Panzer IV shown in the video had the commanders hatch in the upright position, which might be a partial obstruction of the IR receiver.
