You guys might rememebr the captured KV-2 I built a while back. Thanks to airbrushler, I have a working set of tracks on the beast once again. I know some of the N.E.A.D. members have been well acquainted with this beast on our fields. I always felt something was missing from the weathering on it though. Sooo, then I realized what it was. White washed tank battling it out in the cold russian winter...hmmm...maybe SNOW???!!! Yea, so I began to add some to it. Ain;t done but like the stug, it's a start.

Nice job on weathering..looks very realistic. One tip on snow. Don't put any on the back deck or the rear of the turret....that's where the heat is and there you won't see any snow accumulating there on an operational tank. Lots of dirt, worn or scuffed paint...that's a Russian tank. What did you use for snow?

Thanks guys! It was a lot of fun painting this tank. It was a mix of different techniches to get the look where I wanted it.
The snow effects were done using a product from Woodland Scenics, called Soft Flake Snow. I got it from pastime hobbies. I used ak interactive wet effects as a fixer adn again to create a wet look around the base of the snow as if some has melted.
