Elefant paint decisions

I have narrowed it down to 3 examples for my Elefant build.
One, the tank at the US Army Ordnance Museum, Aberdeen that was freshly repainted:

Two, the Cyber Hobby kit of the final production vehicle:

Or maybe something like this:

Decisions, decisions, decisions. And I have not ruled out zim work either.

IMHO, the Aberdeen camo is a real shame and it would be a crime to reproduce it in 16th scale
The 2 others are Ferdinand and not Elefant, so you would be good for scratching the difference between the two versions (plus buying the right tracks...)
An accurate Elefant should be 2 or 3 colors camo + zimm (the Berlin Elefant would make a really nice model but only based on written description, I dunno any photos of the last 3...)

Yeah, the Aberdeen is incorrect.
Refresh my memory. To make the HOOBEN Elefant a Ferdinand one needs to replace the copula and bow machine gun ... and what else? Something about the driving lamps/lights too.

You'd have to move the stowage to the right front hull side, get ferdinand tracks, and some details like where the jack is mounted as well as what you said about coupola and bow MG. Not too much to change though.

And Ferdinand tracks? [:@] There's a difference and what? I just got some KK metal ones ... they'll have to do.
Pretty sweet too I might add and light weight. Oh well, something to sleep on and THANKS! I'll start on it after the Panther is finished.

Yea, the Ferdinand used the original Tiger (P) tracks which were 600mm wide while the Elefant got the wider 640mm "banana" tracks
while being refitted at St. Valentin.

So I found this on the flames of war forum. It may not be historical for elefants, but this was actually the paint on some panthers in poland fighting 1944-45. I think it would look pretty sweet to show up for a battle in that. This is like Painting camoflage flames on a muscle tank. If you put a white wash only on the green and a watered down on the rest, would look pretty beast during the winter. I need to get a tank to paint like this... IF only I had this mans skills.
