Default HL Panzer III part

Does anyone havealower hull extension piece that fits on the rear of the Panzer III lowerhull. The piece fits loosly into the slots on
the rear hull plate and goes over the mufflers. Will pay for part and shipping. I hope I don't have to try to explain this in trying to order
one from Mato Toys!

I just bought one to gut for a donor (Gear box and metal tracks are going in/on a StuG and the electronics in a Trump T-34).

PM me where you want it.

If it is for the Panzer III L and you need to order one from Mato or elsewhere part number is 48-061.

STO_118,

I am interesting in purchasing some various HLparts in the future such as turret parts etc. Where can one get the part numbers such as the one you provided? Thanks

Keep in mind, the part you mention is different between the Tauchpanzer H version, and the original release. The original is longer.

Hi strato50,

Hi Ausf,

I hope you mean you bought a Stug III for the gearboxes not a Pzr III. Pzr III TUs will not fit into a Stug. They are too tall. Stug TUs are low profile. FYI Bob

Whew, you scared me there Bob.

I just checked and they are identical and fit. It never dawned on me that HL would make two different gearboxes for such similar tanks, I really figured they were the same in all of their tanks. This was the metal upgrade from Matomart, not aftermarket and fortunately for me, they are the same frame, just metal gears.

I originally bought a StuG to see what HL tanks were like and loved it, but the plastic tracks kept breaking, so I wanted to get metal. I didn't want the metal tracks with the nylon gears, so by the time I bought gearboxes and tracks and sprocket I was already near the price of a Matomart metal upgrade. Since I have a static Trumpeter T-34/76 I want to convert, it made sense to get a Pz III so I'd have turret traverse and elevation as well as the rest for that and metal parts for the StuG. The Pz III body will eventually be a burned out hulk battlefield decoration and I have spare plastic links and wheels for add on armor.
