From the same series....nice to see that the IDF is not the only military bringing women into tank crews.
It's in German, but translation is not needed. Sonja is 26, a sgt and a loader on a Leo 2a6.

The videos remind me of many miles I drove M-48/41s on many Autobahns, and through lots of small villiages. They outlawed it for a long time, but seems it's SOP again.

1st reaction to this convoy:
The Germans must have really liked their Elefants back in the day because they've made a new, updated one!
2nd reaction:
They must be getting ready to come to the USA - they've already got those day-glow red or orange caps on their muzzles that
our politicians require to make them safe.
Thanks for the video reference Rivet very cool.
Someone on e**.de just sold a 1/10 muzzle brake for one of these that looked very good, well executed.

</div><div>Tanks and infantry too. There was a female falschimjagerer in a squad from kommando luftbewegliche krafte 4 division back in '96 when we trained with them. </div><div>
</div><div>Its amazing all the areas we still lag behind the world (read Europe) in the integration of women. </div><div>

Roger that....On speaking with many young soldiers at Ft Jackson, it's amazing how many girls want to be in combat arms and are obviously in good shape...but the mothers of America have spoken and so far, no go. People fail to realze that there are no longer "front lines" and "rear areas" and that a female doing a mechanics job, driving a truck or working a "safe" job is no longer a viable argument.
Look at so many countries and see all the females in all combat units. Isreal is a glowing example on how well it works. I've been there and spoken with many IDF soldiers, male and female. There is no requirement in the IDF for a female to be placed in a combat unit, however, if she volunteers, is physically fit and can perform the job requirements,,,,she's in. About 1/3 of Merkava tank drivers and some loaders and gunners are females.
