Thanks man. I found that. I thought they had one with a better showing of the parts, but this is all they seem to offer.

Yes they only show a few parts and part numbers on the back page not like the full option tank manuals .

I used the Pershing turret ring set for two of my Leo builds: Part Number 0115307 Tamiya 1/16 M26 Pershing Turret Ring Q, K Parts

RCLeo

Would you mind checking the diameter of the Pershing ring set. I already have used the Leo ring set for a cutom turret, but wanted to build the Tamiya Leo turret so I could swap them. It is imperative that both rings are exactlty the same to allow me to swap out the turrets

If the Pershing and Leo 1 are the same then this would be an option for me.

FYI, the turret ring that is included with the new Tamiya display Leopard 1 kit is the same part as the Tamiya Pershing turret ring.

The new display Leo 1 kit does not include the 3 turret rollers but does have the 3 stand offs to mount them on.

I can pop the turret off over the weekend if you still need the ring diameter, but the model is stored away til Iget the time to finish paint it.

No that is fine. If you know they are the same that is good. My Leo did come with the rollers though

I've been slowly obtaining the parts over the years to convert my original Leopard to full option and now this re-release makes things a little easier for turret rotation at least.

Has anyone else found any other parts on the new re-release that have changed from the original to allow better conversion?

I don't see a Pershing F7 part which bolts to the turret ring and allows for the recoil unit (edit: i think its the elevation unit actually) to be mounted... Had anyone tried to add it?

Maybe they are (*wishing*) a full option version later with more converted parts!

Thanks

In the relrease, the barrel is the same as the original, isn't it? That would mean it was not designed for Fo conversiona nd has to be scratch built. That is the way my original one came, anyway....
