Hello, new guy here. I started out a couple of months ago with the Heng Long Tiger 1. Cool tank, but the motor on the right side seems to lock up and makes a loud clicking noise. Has anyone else had a problem with the motor locking up?

I don't know much about HL tanks, but check your gearboxes for smooth operation and stripped gears. Have you used any lubrication on them? Were they broken in before use?

cav scout as green amphibian has said your gears are more than likely the cause of your issues. Take a close look at the teeth on the gears and see if any have been worn off, Usually with the Tiger it is the first gear after the motor/pinion gear. At least that is my experience with quite a few Tigers I have seen.<div>Let me know which gear it is and I'll see if I have it in my spares.</div><div>

Thanks for the info guys. The gears were the first thing I thought it might be. I checked all the gears and they all look good. It doesn't do it all the time. It seems to start making the noise after about 10 mins of running it. Then it will run fine then start making the noise.</p>
