Anyone have inside info? This looked like it had a very promising future, everything was included and seemed like a decent option. Now it's been almost a year and everything is still back ordered. I know there were issues getting the board from the manufacturer, but this I feel should have been resolved by now. One would hope that maybe they are doing newer improved versions, or maybe even a different design, different style apple or something. The clark board when all the parts are bought, wires, tbu base and tbu it is comparable in cost but you theroretically only need one tamiya apple for the clark board. I hope they didn't go belly up. It's nice to see diversity.

No inside info here, but I have had a SLU backed ordered since November of 2011. That is unsatifactory customer service. I've given up on the SLU and not had success with the MAKO board. Now I am waiting for more feedback onthe Clark board.

Actually I wasn't planning on any at this moment. I go through my bookmarks now and then and I went back on their site and realized how long it's been since they have had any in stock. It's a shame since these seemed very promising. I am holding out for the Clark TK22 US version for my mato Sherman build, either that or the Elmod treatment.

Have you checked the SLU site recently? I just went to it and it looks like they have the Sherman SLU in stock now along with all the other SLU versions.

Well that's weird. I googled it and the first link shows everything back ordered, but the second link shows everything in stock. That's strange. Thanks for pointing that out.

give me 2 weeks, A Clark King Tiger will be facing off against a pile of SLU laden tanks. We will see how things go.

Well the Clark can use the Tamiya apple so that's slope defence and 45degree defence to the good! The Clark has a far better ESC than the limp affair of the slu (my elefant with speed 400s Tamiya tus and 3:1 gears downs stalls out on cut grass). The slu does have a better sound set but that's about it.
