Default TACTIC Radios?

Anyone own any and how do they work for you? I know they are made by Hobbico but I just saw them (duh) for the first time in a Tower Talk flyer and just when I was about to pull the trigger on a new Futaba (which I really love) I see theirs, and with the pricing it almost looks like they are half as much.

SO... any bad news about their use for ground?

I want to get in on the 2.4GHz train before Danville and the TTX650 6-channel 20-memory SLT Computer Radio with screen display is really burning a hole in my pocket!

Take a look at the Turnigy 9X and 9XR from HK. Cheap as dirt and excellent radios. There's a host of DIY upgrades you can do with them if you are into it. I have the 9X's and will be ordering the 9XR if they ever are in stock again. Currently, I'm modding a 9x for a FPV screen.

the 9XR is an ugly bird lol  The tactic radios are good radios, I know both tankers and flyers that use them with no problems

I have two and they work fine ( M-26 , Leopard 2A6M CAN and T-55 ) . There are about a dozen in our club. ( Can-Am RC Tank Club in Fort Erie

I ended up buying another receiver for my Specktrum instead for simplicity. PM me if you are interested.
