I have to jump in here.
I can not make new posts, the new post button does not show up on my computer.
I have been a member for two years and previously I was able to make new posts but for the last 6 months I have not had a new post button to make posts. ( I obviously can reply )
I have been back and forth with " John Neff ") ( Administrator ??? ) ( I have dealt with him before and he has helped successfully ) he has logged on to my account and he can make it work.
I have tried my PC, Lap top and tablet on 4 different peoples' wireless internet and dial up.
I have made all the fixes John has suggested and a bunch of my own. ( Nothing)
Any one out there know anything or got any suggestions..

lets see if it works for me most of the time I have to do the reply first then go back in and edit it to apply pic's .

Photobucket caps free users to I believe 2GB right now, which might seem like a lot, but I still prefer using MediaFire.com for storage, it offers 50GB of free storage, & just about every image I post here gets stored there ... along with all types of other various files I share with people too.

Well since you are using several diferent browsers on different machines I'm not sure if it is the browser. Anyway selecting a new profile will not change anything in your default profile unless you delete it. You simply create a new profile and name it (test1 for example) and use that. Sometimes your default profile becomes fouled-up up due to a virus,maleware etc.
Have you tried a friends laptop from a friends house to access and see if the problem is exits on their machine and internet connection? If you can and it works then see if you can take it to your house and run it through your router and see if it still works. At least you can rule out your internet/router.

Failed to upload with Safari and FireFox. Both small (30K) and medium (300K) files. One or two at a time (500 Internal server error)
Base upon the number of complaints, it would appear to be a RCU problem.

I know one time I was logged off accidently ( I stay logged on ) and it wouldn't let me post because at that time I was a visitor ( a snall notice at the top othe page ). I relogged on and all has been good.

Not just us. There are some threads on the main forum about upload issues and generally slow site responses. Someone posted a complaint ticket, and RCU IT support says they are working on it.........
