Errr a japanese store that ships international at Japanese pricing?<div>
</div><div>Isn't that illegal? Or the law only affects Japanese electronics?</div><div>
</div><div>I know my friends in Japan pay a lot LESS than me for their model kits (and electronics).</div>

Ok posting it here cause this is were it started at I'm using some of the parts from the JS-2 to make a KV-122.
I got the JS-2 Barrel and mussel brake from Tamiya USA .
The lower hull is metal Asiaitam KV-1 the upper hull is HL KV-1 with the KV-85 turret from Juckenburg converted to having barrel mount re sized to fit the 122mm JS-2 barrel .
The recoil is in using servo recoil have not installed the elevation mech yet but it will be a HL one .
So here is how it looks so far .
Thanks
Jimmy

Nice video
As you can see on what I'm doing building the KV-122 I am getting as close to the JS-122 as you can with out buying the Tamiya kit for $1000.00 bucks.
Now that the JS-2 kit is out you can buy some of the spruce for it from Tamiya USA like the turret its a 1s turret but looks better then the Juckenburg KV-85 conversion kit and is more to scale .
The barrel price is ok but just to get the Mussel brake be ready to spend a lot of dollars even for any other spruce but all in all if you convert a HL KV-1 and even use the Profiline KV-85 turret kit or the Tamiya JS-2 turret it still cost less then buying the whole JS-2 kit .
Thanks
Jimmy

Looking good Jimmy!
I may resort to getting a few of the Tamiya sprues also for the mantlet because it does need to be wider and larger than the JUWA KV-85 is and for the larger barrel too.
No matter if my metal muzzle brake is not the correct scale, I bought it for my KV-122 project a LOOONG time ago and paid for it too so I must use it.
So what color and markings will you use?
We almost need to start a new thread for the KV-122 builds, huh?

Ya Jeff we should start a new build page labled KV-122 .
The spruce for the mussel brake is $74.00 from Tamiya USA there are some parts on it that can be used on other areas but still cost is up there .
I'm painting it a dark Russion green and am thinking about a lite white wash .
