Waltersons gear boxes
Well it has been over a month sense I got a Waltersons gear box for my HL panther g.
This is what I found, it is .032 too high or about 1 mm. The wires too stiff and attach screw too small. I emailed them with my problems and they said they would get back to me.
This was before the new year and nothing as yet. It would be better too low than too high,
you could shim it up.

Thats dissappointing.
I don't know why but they fit my HL Panther G but the same units will not fit a Jagdpanther.
This one has the Waltersons

RE: Waltersons gear boxes
When you put the mount plate in did it have two holes for the old rear gear mounts.
I have the IR version and would think they would have differnt gear boxes.
Mine had steel gears.

RE: Waltersons gear boxes
guys it appears the Heng Long quality goes beyond the known items. I have brought all these things up and hopefully there is a resolution in the works but until I hold something in my hand I need to keep mum on what is being done
