I have a taigen tiger air soft version. I'm in the process of tearing it down, I want to add a Clark board and recoil. Then down the road add tamiya battle system. But, I'm curious as to how people are making elevation units for them?

I didn't realize Taigen didn't include elevation. I can see leaving traverse off a Stug, but elevation on a turret is important.

Maybe adapt a HL unit, you can get them for under $10.

It has/had an elevation unit but it was the air soft launcher with an odd motor/spring setup on the back.<div>

What our friend is asking, i beleive, is he will install a servo recoil which means no more airsoft unit which provides the elevation.<div>

Just buy the HL recoil and use the Clarke. The clarke allows for up/down without the full cycle to go the other direction.

its a simple wire modification to allow proportional elevation with existing HL/Taigen parts and a Clark board. Anybody wants the instructions just pm me.

Servo recoil and elevation will save you a lot of headache, I used those functions on the TK-22 and never looked back! Here's the setup inside my turret, more info in my T-34 build thread.

Thanks! I'll post a video of it working very soon. The display pic is actually Captain Nemo from Nadia and the Secret of Blue Water, his appearance was actually based on Captain Gloval, hence the likeness!
