Default Geabox for 1977 Tamiya Leopard A4

Hi guys,Just acquired one of these gems and was trying to do some research into the best gearbox to use.This version only has the plastic lower hull.The original one is shagged and was wondering if there was another Tamiya gearbox that would do the job.Cheers

Direct fit? No.

AFV sells twin motor boxes for them. I think it's a 2 speed but people have said it has issues shifting while moving.. but that's about the extent of bugs with it.

AFV also has a single speed set up for it all it is is two tamiya panther gearboxes mounted on a plate they have made for them they cost more then just buying a couple gearboxes and they wont sale just the plate .
