Very good FreakyDude . and good luck on your build,it is something I am enjoying as each step is completed.I am trying to get it as close to what there is available. and there were two different types maybe we wont be doing the same one. maybe we can help each other with our builds. I am looking forward to your build.

Thanks Jim at this time I'm thinking of using either Elmod or IBU. although it looks as if there is a lot of room I want to use something smaller then Tamiya. I know how elmod works and am happy with it ,and I like what I seen with the IBU.but im still a long way. it has been a slow build.

Here is a few more pictures of what has been done during the making. In the first picture there is the side profile of the DickerMax, next is the 10.5cm main gun to scale followed bu the top of the fwd.top of the fighting compartment. in the IV picture there is the difference in the final drive covers. Panzer IV ,Dickermax and Dm in 1/35. then a closer shoot of the dickermaxs final drive cover minus the armor covers that were installed. couldn't find that picture will post latter.

Sweet, what a great project.

Love the final drive cover, nice attention to detail. Using 1/35 is a great tool.

Thanks for the kind words of encouragement guys. I have the Sturer Emil and was thinking building one of them before I started this one, But with this one being my first scratch build I chose to do the Dickermax instead. with the dicker max I am able to use the Panzer IV chassis/ suspension where as if I was to go with the Sture Emil I would need to fabricate a larger road wheel and make the staggered wheel pattern.thus I went for the Dicker max.

Good choice! Looking forward to seeing it come alive.

They both are pretty awesome as I have both kits, having built the Emil.

A few more pictures guys. Picture 1 shows the DickerMax @ it's present state of fabrication. next is a fwd.top shot. followed with the drivers visor opened and then shut. the 4th return roller was dropped 5mm and the fuel/water cap was installed between the 2nd and 3rd return roller on the right side.
