Someone had one when I was at danville in may. (don't remember who) Sure some more have been completed by now.

It's supposed to be a great kit, but I think the price is killing sales. A grand is a tough nut to crack. I can justify a lot of hobby related expenses, I can even talk myself into the occassional large outlay like the Tammy Pz IV, but there's something about the $1000 plateau for a 1/16 plastic kit that just crosses the line for me personally.

I also think the weight class is working against it. Aren't heavies a liability in big battles?

I know that pcomm John Ackerman finished one, and DAK has one under construction. I've not seen completed photos of the build though.

Model Magazine International is doing a full buildd review either next month or the one after.

Thats a Tamiya sponsored magazine though so it will hardly be neutral.

Probbably why they didnt mention the price in the mini review of the June edition!
