Hello RC Universe,
Got my bulldog and did a test run indoor and out and everytime I make left turns the right track jumps, right turns the left jumps. The last time I install the tracks back in place and lifted the tank, I notice that there's too much slack on both tracks measuring about an inch and a half. I took off a track on both sides and I remeasured to an inch slack. They still jump when I make either low or high speed turns. Is there a track tensioner for this tank or any that will fit and work??? Need help bad. Forgot to mention that I have metal tracks.
Thank you,
Gerry

thanks for your reply. I tried removing couple of links more but I notice that the first and last wheels were kinda pushed in and the tracks seems tight and did a test run. It doesn't jump anymore but I can hear the motors sounds like have too much load.

The key is to having the 1/2" of slack with the tank off the ground. The first and last road wheels may still be at an angle. Your motors should not be straining to move the tank.

I had seen the track tension adjuster for M41A3 in RCTANK.DE

You know those axel supports are always a good idea. I even have a set for my Tamiya Panther that i still need to install. That tank is almost bullet proof with the gear boxes i have but every bit of support added is a bonus. Takes a lot of the stress off of the gear box bearings that way and will help with track to sprocket alignment. Also some metal plate under the hull below the gear boxes help a great deal in eliminating flex which helps keep the tracks on the sprockets.
